Eiko Ishibashi, who composed the soundtrack for the Best International Feature Film Academy Award-winning 'Drive My Car,' is a multi-talented artist known for her work worldwide. Eiko Ishibashi is a musician based in Japan. She plays piano, synthesiser, flute, marimba, drums and other instruments. She has released albums with labels such as Drag City, Black Truffle, Editions Mego and felicity. In January 2020, she composed music for the exhibition 'Japan Supernatural' at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney, which was presented at the museum during the Sydney Festival. In 2021, she composed music for the film 'Drive My Car', and the soundtrack was released. Winner of Discovery of the Year, World Soundtrack Awards and the Music Award at the Asian Film Awards. Released 'For McCoy' with Black Truffle in 2022, touring USA, UK and Europe. She also joined the NTS residency in 2022. In 2023, she conceived and composed music for the film 'Evil Does Not Exist', directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi. Together with silent film 'Gift' which was made using footages from the same film, she will be touring live from October.
Jim O’Rourke

Released the 1st album "Junior Refugee" from Salvaged Tapes in 2015. Her activities extend beyond providing
music for films and TV commercials, as well as remixes, to a wide range of support roles such as vocals,
synthesizers, and backing vocals.
In addition to collaborating with talented contemporaries such as Shun Ishiwaka (Answer to Remember,
CRCK/LCKS, SMTK), Daiki Tsuneta (King Gnu), and Ayatake Ezaki (WONK), she has also shared the stage with
visionary musicians like Eiko Ishibashi, Jim O'Rouke, Phew, and Ibeyi, each with their distinct artistic universe.
She has also been selected as featured artists in works by MONDO GROSSO, Tokyo Shio Koji, Sen Morimoto, and
Maika Loubté, building relationships with artists active both domestically and internationally.
Furthermore, she formed a group called black boboi in 2018 with Utena Kobayashi and Julia Shortreed, and
performed at the Red Marquee of "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '19". Since 2019, she has also been involved in
Millennium Parade led by Daiki Tsuneta.
