Music unit formed in Kyoto in 1998 by Masataka Hosoo and Tadashi Kondo. Belonging to PROGRESSIVE FOrM, the leading, cutting-edge music label of Japan’s electronica scene from then till now, EUTRO were active mainly in Kyoto’s club scene. In 2003, they suspended their activities in order to develop their respective expertise.
After 12 years, the group reunited in 2016 with internationally-acclaimed contemporary artist, Ryota Yagi. They draw on their respective expertise to create an unprecedented musical experience that fuses music, art and craft.

HOSOO HALL
HOSOO HALL Hosoo was founded in 1688 in Nishijin, Kyoto, under the surname “Hosoo” from Honganji Temple. In 1923, Tokujiro Hosoo, the 9th-generation head of HOSOO, started the wholesale business of obi and kimono, while continuing its history as a weaver in Nishijin. HOSOO HALL is a multi-purpose members’ area in the HOSOO FLAGSHIP STORE, and the only HOSOO flagship shop in Japan. It is a place where traditional craftsmanship with an eye on the future is presented to the world.
